Health Expo
14 Feb 2026

You’re invited to a:

Free Community Health Expo

The Park Community Centre in Flat Bush

Saturday 14 February 2026

8.30 am to 12.30 pm

It will be a great opportunity for you to take charge of your wellbeing in a relaxed, friendly setting.

The expo will offer free heart and diabetes checks, giving adults over 30 a valuable chance to understand their risk factors and get personalised advice without needing an appointment. Free immunisations will also be available, helping ensure both adults and children are up to date with their vaccinations.

You can learn how to read food labels for healthier living, with practical tips on making better choices at the supermarket. There will also be information on local mental health and healthy living services, so people know where to turn for support close to home.
New this year, Hato Hone St John will be on site offering you and your family the change to learn free basic CPR so attendees can gain confidence in responding to a medical emergency.

Community safety will be further supported by the involvement of Neighbourhood Watch, who will share advice on keeping local streets and homes safer.
The expo is led by East Health Trust and the team will be available to answer questions, connect you with services and encourage regular check-ups.

The Health Expo will be held at The Park Community Centre, 141 Chapel Road, Flat Bush. If you have questions before the event, email organiser Parvin Kapila at parvink@easthealth.co.nz.

Everyone is welcome and would love to see families, neighbours and friends coming along together to make health a community priority.
