Clinics
East Health represents 18 general practice clinics across the East Auckland, Franklin and Pukekohe areas.
General practices are private businesses and set their own fees for consultations and other health services. While the fees charged must be within a certain threshold agreed to by district health boards (DHBs), and PHOs, the level of co-payment is determined by the individual practice.
Consultations are typically set at 15-minute time slots; higher fees may apply if consultations are longer than 15-minutes.
