ElderCare

ElderCare was established in 2000, it is a service to provide a co-ordinated approach to the health care of older people.

ElderCare supports older people to live independently in the community. It can provide you and your family with information about health and community services for older people and assist you to access the appropriate services. It offers health education to community groups about ageing positively. Your doctor and practice nurse work closely with ElderCare and can refer you to our service.

The general public are able to access the service for advice and information on local and greater Auckland services.

Fall Prevention

Tai Chi is proven to improve leg strength, balance and co-ordination - key risk factors for falls in older adults.

The Shopping Shuttle pick-up area includes: Bucklands Beach Peninsula, Pakuranga, Howick, Dannemora to Flatbush including Harris / Springs Road, Ormiston Road & Murphys Road.
